Multiple beneficial effects of photocatalysis

Some important effects of photocatalysis are the disappearance/non-appearance of particulate matter, algae, fungi and mosses.
When used in air disinfection in public buildings such as concert halls, nitrogen oxides and other harmful organisms are removed from the air in a short time (using artificially obtained UVA light).

Photocatalysis is by far the most powerful disinfection method after the autoclave (as used in hospitals for sterilization at 360˚C of surgical tools) and much more powerful than for example alcohol and other solutions.
The beneficial effects of this purely natural process result in a healthier climate for people, animals and plants.

Photocatalysis  is created by a collaboration between Tio2 and light. (UVA) Disinfection with light has been used for years in operating rooms in hospitals and, for example, in cold stores for meat transport.
However, this was done with UVC light, which is harmful to humans, animals and plants and requires special protective clothing.
As soon as the light is turned off after disinfection, the contamination starts again. 

MULTI-COVER works together with UVA from sunlight / artificial UVA LED light.
The composition ensures that you can process it completely safely. The product falls within all set European safety standards.

Several beneficial effects on the environment

It was applied over a long period of time in scientific tests in greenhouses in greenhouse horticulture with excellent results!
In the meantime greenhouses are being fully coated on the glass on the inside on a large scale (vegetable cultivation and tropical ornamental pot plant cultivation). The effects are multiple and some of them are visually observable.
After a short time, the treated surface looks significantly cleaner and brighter than the untreated surface.

The natural process of photocatalysis removes harmful aerosols and nitrogen oxides from the surrounding air and removes harmful organisms from the surface.
However, healthy organisms do benefit, such as organic management (consciously integrated beneficial insects to protect the crop) in greenhouse horticulture.
This is an ongoing, long-term process and you don’t need to do anything about it; as long as there is daylight, there is photocatalysis!
